We are so excited to be offering a Try Lax day this fall. Help us spread the word about this event where kids can try out lacrosse for free.  So many adults and kids have said "they know X amount of people that want to play".  Here is your chance to bring those interested kids out to experience a lacrosse stick and get some instruction.

Event is open to any girl or boy interested in learning more about lacrosse and that has never participated in one of our programs before. They only need to come with a water bottle and wearing comfortable clothing. We will have sticks for the participants to use at the event.

This free event will take place Saturday, September 17th from 2-3pm at Bradford Creek Soccer Complex. All participants must have a waiver signed prior to participating. We will have the waivers at the event but you can also download and print from here (https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.leagueathletics.com/Text/Documents/11065/70230.pdf)

Use this form to register kids interested so that we can estimate how much equipment to bring to the event... https://goo.gl/forms/lGjXVULeDdfAPQMI2

About us:

Pitt County Youth Lacrosse (PCYL) is a not for profit organization that is dedicated to developing a vibrant youth program that will teach area kids, ages 5 to 15, the great game of lacrosse in a fun, positive environment. PCYL offers clinics in the fall and team play in the spring.

We have over 100 members and play in the East Carolina Youth Lacrosse League (ECYLL) with teams from New Bern, Havelock, Topsail, Kinston, Cape Carteret and Jacksonville, totaling over 1,000 members. Our teams also play in regional tournaments and against other area schools such as Parrott Academy and Outer Banks Lacrosse Club. Our players, both girls and boys, now feed into high school teams at D.H. Conley and J.H. Rose here in Greenville. These teams were started with our assistance.

We are excited that 2016 marks PCYL’s 10th year of providing kids in the Pitt County area an opportunity to play lacrosse.
